Hi Grant,
I'm spending this coming Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Acworth, GA. I have lots of time on my hands while my son sails on the lake. What are the don't-miss restaurants, markets, etc.? I don't mind driving a bit.

Lynn, I'm never in Acworth proper, but everybody raves about Henry's Louisiana Grill.
What I can tell you for sure is that you should not miss Doug's Place, just up I-75 in Emerson. Come back south a few exits to Kennesaw and you could try Big Pie in the Sky (along with a pretty big crowd) or Big Shanty Smokehouse. Get your pork plate there half-and-half pulled and chopped.
For Saturday breakfast, I'd recommend you try Stilesboro Biscuits. You may luck into one of their occasional mornings with a live bluegrass band! Happy eating!
