Two other places well worth visiting for dogs in Atlanta.
A really good Chicago dog is at Mike's Hot Dogs in Sandy Springs, in the same shopping center as the Whole Foods on Roswell Road just above 285, Hammond Place. 5948 Roswell Road.
The other good place is Barker's Red Hots, 3000 Windy Hill Road at Powers Ferry Road. The red hot is good and they have other tasty choices too.
If it weren't for how bad nitrates are for your health, I'd eat hot dogs every day.
But not at The Varsity. Their dogs are really quite poor, I'm afraid.
