We ate at the J Christopher's in Macon not to long ago. It had the "chain" feel, but the food and service was good. I had the eggs Benedict which is not a normal dish for me. The only criticism was that the prices seemed a little high. On a side note, I occasionally glance over at the Food & More site and see some articles concerning Boners BBQ. I noticed that John Kessler had them ranked 3rd in his favorite pulled pork category. I also see you have blogged on the other top 4 in that category. Have you had Boners yet or do you plan to in the near future. You are the go to voice for BBQ for me and I hope hear what you have to say about them. Thanks.
Also, I ate at Old Clinton's in Gray the other day. We don't get up there everyday being in Warner Robins. I thought about you that day. It sure was good. Have a great day!

I certainly appreciate your making me your go-to voice for barbecue, but that restaurant is one that I won't be going to, ever. One of the individuals who questioned the owner's response to that social media incident, and was told off, nastily, by the owner, is a good friend of mine. Anybody who'd speak that way to my friend is a man who's not wanting my money, frankly.

But, credit where credit's due, that was actually the estimable Jon Watson who compiled that list for the AJC's Food & More. I think it must be very good BBQ, as it's in very good company, but... you just don't talk to my friends that way.
